Day 1 of Hong Kong trip: Tuesday, May 12, 2009 11:24 PM
Hello!
Okay this is purely speed-post. As I want to make it easier for myself to tell you, my readers, what happen during the past week when I was away.

Let’s begin….
I really looked forward to the areoplane ride because flying is definitely a dream come true for me. This is my 3rd overseas trip, first two was to China with the school for both the trips. This trip to Hong Kong was a special one as I with my whole family. Including my 2 ¾ years old sister, she got the privilege to take her first areoplane ride at such a young age. Jealous. However, she may not even remember. So I am on the advantage side. I did not really expect much from this trip to Hong Kong because I have no clue how is Hong Kong is like and the planning was not done by me. So in short, I do not know what to expect so no expectation. I remember during my piano lesson in the afternoon before the trip, I was pretty restless as I was excited to be going for a holiday. I admit that I wasn’t paying much attention to listening what my teacher taught. Looks like a lot of redemption need to be done, I will need to practice more before I go back for practice the week after next.
In the plane, I was really fortunate that I got the window seat with no unhappy sisters and no argument made. I was pretty surprised. Well, it goes like this: My older sister wants to sit nearest to the aisle so that she could move in and out easily, while my younger sister did not like to sit in the corner--some phobia of hers. Praise the Lord.
As the plane started to drive through the runway and lifted off, that was when my heart also lifted—high in the sky. It is really an amazing feeling. That was maybe the reason behind the urge to be an air-stewardess. The best part about the flight was mainly the experience of taking off and the fact that could watch movies on the plane through the flight. I was able to catch the movies that I missed and did not have the opportunity to watch as I had my O levels. Dinner was served at 9.00pm and I was famished, but the power of the watching the movies were it distracted my attention.
When the plane reached Hong Kong, I am reminded of the first time I landed in China when I was in sec 2. Unfortunately, it was not a good reminder. As the first trip to China was more of a nightmare for me, however I told myself that I am not going to let that thought ruin my first trip overseas with my family. I will enjoy myself, trust me with God help’s everything is possible.
When we landed, my father was waiting for us as he had gone to Hong Kong earlier. We took the MTR, which is something like the MRT in Singapore and later to the hotel—The Langham.
The Hotel was really very well furnished. When I walked in I was just amazed and felt that I was some really rich and important person, as the Hotel staff where there to greet you and helped with the luggage even though it is like 1am the next morning. I am so going back to that hotel to visit if I have the money.
My older, younger sister shared the same hotel room with me and we three had to share the bed. It was uncomfortable as I was not use to having so little space when I sleep and my older sister was scolding me for moving to much as it cause the bed to move and therefore affecting her.
Got to obey her as she is older then me.
The television in the hotel room had the channel Cartoon network. Yeah!
