Tuesday is the NEW Monday.
Returned to school on Tuesday and not Monday due to the Hari Raya Holidays.
Selamat Hari Raya to my Muslims friends! Though I know it is kind of late. Sorry…
Back to school, feels very mundane. However, there is a few interesting events that made the day different.
A friend commended that Biology is actually disgusting facts explained in scientific terms. My biology teacher told my class that someone asked her when does germination takes place. Is it the part where the outer layer of the seed crack open or is it the part where the stems appears or is it when the seedling grows seeds? -.-
To rephrase the above question, it is like asking is it when the head of the baby come out is called delivery or the part of the body of the baby comes out then it is called delivery or when the hands of the baby comes out then you called it delivery? Moral of the question, don’t try to memorize answers. Think smart. Then you will excel in your future.
Physics practical was surprisingly…..fun. My physics teacher is really nice to set up all the apparatus and brought batches of students to view the different experiments. The different experiments:
One on electrostatic, a shiny metal sphere connected to a current and she held another smaller metal sphere close to the other. Blue sparks to be seen. Of course the cute sound effect that my teacher added. One of my classmate, ZiLing, she definitely had a high resistance to electricity. She place her hand on the larger metal sphere that is connected to the socket and said it is only a little pain. Man! I truly admire her high tolerance. If you place you hand close to the larger metal sphere, the hair on you hand will truly stand.^^
One was on the cathode-ray oscilloscope with the diode, loved the experience of looking at the real thing and not the pictures in the textbook. I, Michelle, for the first time this day to see a real cathode-ray oscilloscope!!!
The last one was the ripple tank. AWESOME!
Nice ending to the day.
Extremely hungry on the way home but I said a prayer for strength to walk home and I made it home!
Thank God.

Warm regards
