At last sweet freedom! Friday, November 13, 2009 9:50 PM

(P.s. Thanks Siying, Phyllis and Meihui for the bear!)

Freedom here I come! Today is the last day of the O levels!!!!!
I cannot really believe that! However, the feeling has not set in yet.
Maybe it will after a few days to finally feel the freedom.
Anyway, great job to all those who took the O levels.
Congratulations for surviving the O levels.
Well, to celebrate I went out to shop for my prom dress, initially wanted to go with my mom but in the end went out with Ab5igail and Ama4nda!
I met them and watch a movie first as it was pretty early and most of the shops had not opened. We watch ‘My girlfriend is an agent’
Well, initially I wasn’t to keen on catching this movie because it is like a direct copyright from Mr. and Mrs. Smith but only in Korean.
However, it turned out to much more than gunshots being fired among the couple.
The movie consists of really idiotic, lame and funny jokes and actions made by the male lead most of the time.
I give it 4 popcorns.
Ab5igail is dying of the CD to come out so she could buy it.
Well, not for me. I want to get the Night at the Museum 2 VCD and the free entry to National Museum. Hee hee^^!
On the way to orchard, Abigail talked about people who use Microsoft to type their blog post. Well, I got to admit that I am one of those who uses the Microsoft to type my post.
Why?
I need to make sure that my English is acceptable and to ensure that my spelling is correct.
Hee hee!
But she does not like those who use Microsoft to type their blog post to type all the theory. Boring! Not pin-pointing anyone.
After that we went to Orchard. OMG! I did not really expect to shop at ION myself.
But since we found ourselves standing at the entrance when we came out of the MRT.
It wasn’t that difficult to find ION.
However, it is very easy to get lost in there, especially if you are like me with no sense of direction.
Well, the prices there are really steep but I found it more acceptable when we went to the lower floors.
The design of the whole place was really very well furnished even the toilets. I wish my school toilets were like that too!
There was a very long escalator that stretched from B3 to B1. Whoa! What a long ride.
I got my prom dress.
To my disappointment, it wasn’t my dream dress (yellow dress) but good enough.
When I was shopping for my dress, I really wished I could actually sew and design my very own dress. That way I could actually get,not only, at a cheaper price and also something that is what I really want.
I am sure lucky that I was not that smart to go to St. Nicolas.
Why?
It is because they have restrictions on the type of prom dress they should have.
Just to name a few,
1. Must be below knee.
2.cannot be tube dress.
3. Cannot be too revealing.
And the list goes on....
I heard that if you do not meet those requirements, the school actually prepared a set of dresses for them to change into. I can imagine that it would be hideous.

There is a Christmas tree(shown below).

It is gorgeous.
The lights.
I got to get into the tree and the lights were like stars.
I got pretty dizzy when I look up to admire the lights.
After a whole day of shopping it was like a work out. I shopped from 2pm to 6.30pm.
My legs ached and it should make up for the past 3 months, after I stopped my PE lessons, of not exercising. I should weigh myself before and after shopping to see if I lose weight!
Lastly, before I end. Just something to caution those going shopping for prom items.
What is worst then wearing the same dress as one of your classmate?

Hope that doesn’t happen to me, fingers cross…
