Alvin and the Chipmucks!!!
Later, we went to eat Ben and Jerry!
The ice-cream was good. I realize that women are more indecisive compared to men. This is proven so today when the guys bought their ice-cream and when they were half way done, us—the girls—just bought our ice-cream. We played some hand games during and after the ice-cream. One of the games was played during the youth camp and Yong Cai was said to have screwed up but from what I see he sure did a lot of practising at home after camp.^^
Then, we headed to the IKEA in Tampines. On the way there, we played the genre of games that I do not fancy and may or may not take a year to figure it out---riddles. Yong Cai and his chicken and duck got the whole group so confused and puzzled. Upon knowing the answer, I did not feel dumb as I know I could not guess it.
At IKEA, the meatballs were fantastic! Yummy! I was so full that I could barely eat dinner. However, I did not regret eating the meatballs although we had it at 3pm. Later, we went walking around IKEA, helping Jeanette find her curtains and having a ball of time. As we pass by the displays, I remembered in the show 500 days with Summer. In the movie, there was one scene where the male and female lead went into IKEA and commented that the taps do not work and it was time to buy a new set when the fact was the taps were on display. As we pass by the displays, one of us thought that the CD player was a save and commented that it could be moved easily. Unfortunately, the “joke” did not end and others went on to comment that the oven was a save and asked if we want our money served hot or cold. Yeah! Haha. No offense to that person. I just think you actions were really cute and innocent.
After a long day at IKEA, Joel commented that he could run 10km but could not walk for like a few hours. I was impressed that he could run that long--10km; on the other hand I feel that GIRLS YOU ROCK! As we could shop till we drop, which I think needs perseverance and loads of training. I love the towels and the lamps found in IKEA.
It was a long trip home from one end to another but to experience such an outing, it was worth it.
