Day 4 of Hong Kong trip: Tuesday, December 8, 2009 11:30 PM
It is rained.
However, it was more of a drizzle.
So we went to take the cable car. I realize that in the MTR, MTR is like the MRT in Singapore, there will be wind blowing. As in when the MTR move, it have the same effect as sitting in a moving car with no top. Really cool as in can safe electricity since the air-con would not need to work so hard to cold the cabin. Yeah, GO Green! If Singapore will do that, hot air will be blown in instead of cold air as in Singapore there are 3 types of weather: hot, hotter and hottest. When it rains it is counted under hot. (Heard it over the radio on Dan and Yang show on 98.7fm)
The cable car ride was awesome, especially when we got the car with the base that is clear and could see everything that is below. My youngest sister was so frighten when we were in the cable car because of the clear base. When we reached the top of the mountain, the temperature was lower and it was colder. I realize that there was some other people eating ice-cream at that cold weather. I think they want to get the double cooling effect. On top of the mountain, there was the Buddha statue and it was really misty.
Cannot really get a clear view on top of the mountain.

Standing on "air"

In the afternoon, the rain stopped and so we headed to Disneyland. I am amazed at the train that took us to the Disneyland train station, as it is well decorated with the Disney characters and the Mickey Mouse shape.
Initially, I had no urge to go to Disneyland. Like to me it is some place in Hong Kong that is one of the main tourist attractions.

As I played in Disneyland for the remaining hours of the day, I was brought back to my childhood days, when I was a little girl who believes in fairytales, happy endings and princesses. In short, become a kid again, young and innocent.
To wrap the whole trip to Disneyland, the fireworks at the end was really spectacular. The castle was lilted up with different colours.
The fireworks was even more impressive when one look through a special type of glasses that makes heart-shapes when there is a light. Seeing is believing.
You may not be impressed with what I say as I have limited vocabulary, but if you have a chance, go and experience it yourself.
If not enough money, I can lend you the glasses and you can use during the fireworks on National day. ^^

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a souvenir there. Left with a heavy heart, but I am glad that I was able to go and visit Disneyland myself.
