This post is suppose to be done like last week but due to lack of important pictures the post is done TODAY, before the year ends.
Sleepover!

I never had a sleepover before. So it is a first for me.

So we met in the morning to make a trip down to Doulos(refer to above post).
Then we went to the pet shop. The puppies there looked soooo adorable and got the facial expression “Bring me home, I am cute.”
But beyond those big, round and dark brown eyes, you can see that they are rather depressed as they are locked up in a cage and cannot run around. Poor thing! 
However, I cannot grant them freedom or purchase them, as my mother doesn’t like pets.
Come to think of it, at home I already have one—my youngest sister.
I did not say she is a pet. I bet you were thinking that way.
She is just an adorable (but can be irritating at times) playmate.
After that, we (Amanda, Abigail and me) went to Amanda’s house. As she cannot contact her friend for the cheesecake recipe, we watched “Planet 51”. It is a pretty funny show but not that awesome, to me.
After the show, headed to the NTUC to get our ingredients. The cheese is the main lead in the cake and also the bulk of the cost. 4 block of cheese = 20bucks.

So back at Amanda’s house, Amanda’s mom cooked dinner. It was yummy. I love curry.

Then the hard work starts…

It was going pretty smoothly with the base—Oreo.
However, not so well with the cake itself.
When we started to mix the cheese and sugar together, Amanda saw sparks.
I meant she saw sparks in the electronic mixer. So for safety reasons, we inform her mom and she declared the electronic mixer officially spoilt and in the dustbin it goes.
No electronic mixer. So her mom helped us buy another.
It took a while.
So we use the hands given by God, and started using the thingy (what do you call that thingy to help mix, ahya forget it. Limited vocab) and spoons and mix the mixture.
Surprisingly, we manage to mix into smooth mixtures for two cakes. I can assure you, I build muscles then.
No wonder chefs are usually male!
We baked the cake till 10pm plus. And headed to Abigail’s house, which is behind Amanda’s house, a five minutes walk but we took the car instead.
I know it is kind of bad as you know burning fossil fuels, more carbon dioxide, global warming and mankind die, blah blah.
But we are girls, not safe.
At abi’s house, really nicely furnished, we watched “Curious case of Benjamin Button”. It is the show starring brad pitt, where he acts as the male lead who age backwards. In other words, he was born as an old man and die as a baby. I got to admit that Brad pitt looked really good when he is younger. The show was pretty dragy but my curiosity cause me stay put. As I really wanted to know how it ends. Overall, awesome show.
Before we headed to bed, we watched some youtube videos.
Slept like 3am in the morning.
Later that day, which is like 11am, we went back to Amanda’s house to check out on the cheesecake and have brunch (breakfast cum lunch). The cheesecake turn out awesome and thanks to the muscles.

Breakfast: Milo. Apple with no centre(awesome way to cut the apple). Cheesecake.
Played the game using Amanda’s TV and as usual, I lost every single match.
I then had to rush back to get my clothes and then to church for the practice for Christmas skit.
Hopefully, I can have another sleepover. ^^
