da-da-da we ain't gonna live forever

Today did not feel like Sunday at all!
As there was no service today.
However, I did not wake up like normal weekdays, wait a minute…I wake up almost the same time everyday unless sick or stayed up like really late.
Haha.
Okay, I had to attend a prize presentation ceremony. I
know I told no one about this award that I received, as I don’t want people to feel like inferior or anything. But it is something to be proud of as it was God who helped me obtain this award.
I guess that build enough suspense.
I receive the Edusave scholarship award, in other words I get some cash from the government for me to spent.

Well, initially I wanted to spend the money cum my savings to get a new computer for myself. If you know me, in my family, one computer had to be shared among three sisters.
SO if you do the math, the time I spend on the computer is kind of little.
Good is certain ways and bad in certain ways.
But come to think of it, forget it.
Though it is a head start, I just continue to save up some more and get a better computer and by that time I guess I would need the computer more then I do now. Just make do with what I have.
I mean, my current situation is also not that bad either.
Okay, so sorry for the sidetrack. Yupps, the ceremony was really all about waiting. I cannot seem to comprehend why the guest-of-honor had to present the award twice.
Okay it goes like this….
Firstly, we(the receives of the award) had to wait to go onto the stage just to receive a piece of paper that reads “Edusave Scholarship Award. Congratulations…” That paper does not have any name written on it. Then after all the students receive that piece of paper, the helpers collect that paper and the GOH then go down the rows to present the cheque and certificate to the students.
I am truly speechless.

So during the free time that I had, I made friends.
Honestly speaking, I cannot stand it just keeping quiet for like an hour and half.
I started talking to the guys beside me.
The one on my left was unfortunately quiet and doesn’t like to talk much.
The one on my right is someone really special.
Why did I say that?
It is because he is a fellow Christian!
Praise the Lord!
So you go to admit that God truly bless those who fear the Lord.
He is a Boys Brigade boy.
It is really easy to talk as you know when people have the same ideology they tend to converse easily.
Yupps, he comes from a non-Christian family so please pray for his parents. ^^

Later that day, my father had a gathering with a few of his Bible study members.
Mainly four families, including my family, attended.
Well, the number maybe small but there are more then one member in the family. Haha.
So it was pretty crowed and lively.
The adults talked about anything from the upcoming thanksgiving dinner to the need to plan for the young’s future.
It can be somewhat boring to be not included in the conversation but it beats running around chasing my youngest sister. Let that be done by the younger ones like Matthew, Alethea and my younger sister.
I lazy.
Haha, I will have to play with her after they leave, so give me a time-out.
I am not saying that playing with my youngest sister is a difficult chore, just that I am getting old—unfourtunately.

At night, there was the Singapore Idol. I mean not to comment about the outcome. I just still support the girl. It is girl-girl thing. I like her voice. But the decision is final and I respect that.

I stood admiring the clean and shiny full-length mirror.
I cleaned it in the afternoon. I am so proud of myself. Also below the bed, it is cleaned! It is pretty disgusting to clean but it is even more disgusting to sleep with the dirt!
Thankfully, there were no sight of creepy crawlies.
