Lucky I remembered my own advice to invest in a sports shoe. Well, a pair of sports shoe sure came in handy for today’s occasion—Family games Day. I would like to call it Games @ LPPC. Okay, I have no authority to decide on the name but the idea is the same. Family games day is actually where the members of LPPC gather and play games. It is not about who wins or loses but it is all about spending quality time with each other. Everyone in full sports gear was gathered in the Sanctuary as we all played one icebreaker game. The game is rather fun. It goes like this, everyone will have a piece of paper with a few statements and all we have to do is to find someone where the statement is true for them and they will have to sign. For example, the statement goes “Had watched a movie in 2010.” So I did just that, so I can sign. Something along that line. I am really happy to make Sherlock Homes the first movie I had watched in 2010 and in the new decade. During the game, one of the statements was “Have the blood type AB” as majority of us are Bs and As so it is hard to find one with AB blood type. However there were two among the group that were AB blood type, so everybody go and “chiong” to them to get their signature. They looked like some celebrity. Haha. As usual, there was the all time favourite game—Captain’s ball. Personally, I find that this game really brings people together as it requires teamwork. For teamwork to be present, there first must be mutual trust and communication. So that’s the beauty of the game. I am forever standing on the chair as a goalie. However, this time round there was rotation so it will not come to a point were only a few players are playing. So I get to sweat it out and burn those extra calories that I gain from sitting infront of the television after a meal. Haha. What to do when all you can do is watch TV? Great game everyone!!!
