HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Well, God has been very gracious to me in everything I do. So this post is dedicated to God as I review what happen the past year, 2009, and what am I working for this year, 2010.
Okay let's start.
In the beginning of 2009, I remember I was so busy with the drills for the upcoming SYF. I tell you it was tough, trying to co-ordinate the playing and the drills. Tough, but in all I have God.
Well, the greatest achievement was to be able to put everything together and I being the first Drum Major in Riverside to use the mace during the video. I was and am part of history.
Then the continuous and strenuous practices that I had to attend before the SYF and the band got a Silver. Though it wasn't the expected results but I was glad that I was part of the band and able to make through the tough times. The band may not be the "winner" but it is already a winner.
The mid 2009, the boring part I should say. Focus study after focus study. Though boring, I know that it is somehow beneficial to my O's. Even though I was only confined to such a limited space, the classroom, I was really glad to have school friends who stood by me and making jokes out of nothing. Wonderful times. Also, the promise to do missionary work.
The year ended with the O levels and prom night and a vacation to Hong Kong and the youth camp. Okay that is long for one sentence. A pretty nice end to the year.
I am puzzled by the way I feel about the new year. I mean that it is just another year, another new day that is given by God. I mean why people don't celebrate each and every new day, just like they celebrate this day, 1st of January 2010. Okay, enough of being a wet blanket. Like I say, celebrate each new day. Happy new year!
New year resolution:
1. Read the whole Bible starting with proverbs
2. Get a new computer
3. be more actively involved in Church.
4. Study hard.
5. Pray for all friends.
6. Get more clothes
