NC16 outing!!! Thursday, January 7, 2010 8:44 PM
HELLO!
I am really happy, okay use another word—elated.
Why?
It is because this is the FIRST time I am going out on a weekday in the year 2010. Well, as many of you know I have no job, so I was practically rotting at home.
Putting that aside, the fact is that I am out of the house and went all the way to the other end of Singapore, East Coast Park. When I say “the other end”, I meant practically the other end as I live in the west and East Coast Park is in the east, as the name says.
So traveling there was indeed a long journey, I mean I know Singapore is a small country and traveling from one end to other is not that bad, especially when the Singapore is really well connected.
I TELL YOU! I took the bus and the journey on the bus alone was a freaking ONE AN A HALF HOUR!!!!
Okay, maybe I am over reacting.

However, it was really a long and bumpy and rather uncomfortable ride all the way from one end to other. I should take the mrt to kallang and then the bus was a much much faster route.
Having said that, I cannot go back to the time, when I just started the journey to East Coast, to take the mrt.
Harm has already been done.
Seriously, I felt pretty sick after that 1 ½ hours of bus ride.
Not pretty at all.

Plus the fact that my sister and I were like one whole hour late.
Opps, sorry to those whom we had made you wait.
Anyway, blessed are those who wait.
So you are blessed.
Anyway, we were not the latest as poor Amanda took the bus that went one whole big round. She was in changi at first and we could like rent a double bike and ride all the way to the chalet in changi to fetch her.
Enough ranting about how foolishly we traveled.

It rained in the morning and I was pretty worried that the track would be wet and then someone would get hurt.
So I prayed that no one got hurt.
However, I got injured.
Ahya, I am prone to accidents.
What to do?
How I fall down?
I have to admit is my bad, so don’t tell you because quite paiseh.
Haha.
All you have to know is the skin came off, bleeding happens and now recovering well (hopefully).
We cycled for 2 and a half hours. We only paid for one hour and we got another hour free. The half an hour more was because according to what Titus said, “The uncle likes me so he gave us another half an hour.”
I should say that I am pretty privilege.
East Coast Park is really beautiful.
Well, it is all the hard work of our creator—God.
The view at bedok jetty was just simply breath taking. I remember asking Abigail if heaven would look like that. She replied, “Maybe, but it will be even more amazing.”
I have to agree with abi.

The bike ride for that 2 ½ hours was really tiring as we cycled from 12noon to 2.30pm without lunch.
After that ride, my butt really hurts.
Haha.

Alynna learnt how to cycle. Yippee! With the help of Jeanette and Joel. Way to go guys! Both Jeanette and Alynna cycle the double bike. Alynna is a fast learner.^^

Then we had lunch at subway and both Elvira and Titus left us, but Uncle Kim Meng came and joins us with the sandcastle building equipments. The same equipments used during the youth camp. So it brought back those wonderful memories from the camp.
Aww…Missed those days.
Amanda and I walked a long the beach while the boys did the foundation (you know boys have the muscles, so that job is prefect for them) As sea water crash onto the shore, it did not spare my toe (injured area) as it got wet too.

According to Yong cai, the plasters are suppose to be waterproof. From what I saw, waterproof is definitely correct but not really seawater poof.
Anyway, a big thank you to Yong cai who brought the plasters and the one who had the nail-clipper. Also a big thank you to Joel, Amanda, Abigail and Elvira who helped me and gave me moral support. Love you guys!!!
The sandcastle was pretty well built but the boys had to destroy it. I mean too bad we were not able to showcase the sandcastle to the public.
But now it is in soft copy for viewing...

Lucky, I did not travel another 1 ½ hour by the bus. Smarter now. MRT is faster.
Tried but rather satisfying.

Abigail, next outing your turn to plan kk? ^^

Love,
