The bus driver that drove the bus 985 was rather kind as he stopped and open the doors for me when he saw me chasing after the bus. SO nice. Well, I was off to St Andrew’s Junior College to attend the open house. The journey was surprisingly short as I traveled from the west to Potong Pasir. That is the advantage of the PIE, expressway. Upon reaching, I was rather amazed at the St Andrew Village’s building. It is really huge and amazing! I was early and had to wait for Felicia, my companion, as she mentioned that she was rather worried that she took the wrong bus as the bus was filled with ah mas (grannies). I was rather amused at the way she phrase it, that’s Felicia for you. Anyway, she arrived on time and we started to explore the building itself. When we entered, we were in awe at the building itself as we walked the long bridge over the canal. Felicia would always comment that the people not in uniform and around our age are potential classmates. Surprisingly true. As I mention before, the chat session is very important. So I got to clarify my doubts about the school and was brought over to choosing St Andrews. Over lunch, both feli and I were debating which to choose, Nanyang or St Andrews. We list the pros and cons but were still unable to decide. Unfortunately.
Then we went to Anderson JC to be Phyllis’s eyes. As she was unable to attend the open house, as we went there for her. The building is rather run down, unfortunately. However, the people there are really friendly and we were greeted with familiar faces. I met my band senior, Siying, and a Bassoon senior, Clarise, whom I met in Beijing. It was great to meet them. Both Felicia and I scripted the questions we wanted to ask and tried to guess the response while waiting. Surprisingly, the response is not what we expected. I feel that it is more of promoting the school to us, a bit bias.
As I left Anderson, I was brought over to choosing Anderson. AhHHhhhhhhhh! Torn between colleges. Torn between friends and facilities. Submission is on Friday. So many choices, so little time to decide.
