da-da-da we ain't gonna live forever

Sec one Orientation camp DAY 1: Friday, January 8, 2010 10:56 PM

I do not know why I sign myself to help out in the secondary one orientation camp. The fact is I did it and I have to help out. Maybe it was boredom that drove me to that decision. Nevertheless, everything happens for a reason plus I can take more pictures and make this holiday a more memorable one.
I woke up pretty tried, as yesterday was quite a day, cycling and building sandcastles. However, I manage to pull myself together and headed off to school. I limped all the way to school, as my toe has not fully recovered and I do not have any sandals so no choice, I had to wear shoe. Surprisingly, it was easier to walk in shoe then in slippers but either footwear, my toe still hurts.
When I got to school, there was a feeling of nostalgia as I saw the teachers and juniors. Remembering the old school days, nice to remember but I do not want to relive my secondary school days as I do not want to re-take O’s again. Once is enough.
I got the privilege to work with a friend for the second time. The first was last year, together with him as OGLs. Now, he is still an OGL and I am an Alumni. I was assigned to the group 1/9B. I think this is the second time I took the class 1/9. Looks like I am some how related to the class 1/9. Haha.
Being Alumni is the best. I mean, no so call responsibilities and no need to check one’s attire every single minute. What I did was to help the OGLs shepherded the sec ones and slack and get free food.
Talking about food, the lunch was awesome! One word—yum!
I suddenly thought if Shijie were there, he would take a few more helpings as during the youth camp he said that the food there was really good and took two servings.
A thought.
That’s all.
Initially the plan was to help out in the morning and catch a movie in the afternoon. However, Siying saw that the afternoon schedule was much more fun and we abort the plan to go catch a movie and stayed for the afternoon.
The games was pretty creative and I saw the sec ones themselves having a ball of time, though some games involve ketchup in dirty water (ewww).
The sun is scorching hot.
I am SERIOUS.
Lucky, I remembered my sun block.
Someone commented that sun block was for whiners but I think it is more for winners.
Haha.
No offense.
I manage to keep my skin unharmed at the end of the afternoon session.

After the whole day, I was truly exhausted. I do not know what I did that was so energy draining but it beats rotting at home.
