I had officially declared that I needed to get more clothes as I threw half of my clothes in my wardrobe last year. Not that I practically threw the clothes into the rubbish bin but more of out of my wardrobe and declared that piece of clothing never to be worn by me again. I am a heartless person when it comes to clearing my stuff. Only those with a lot of sentimental value, to me, are worth keeping.
Lesser clothes = shopping.
A girl’s favourite sports have to be shopping, I meant literally. It is because when one shops it could practically take THE entire day. Walking and standing around for an entire day is definitely something commendable.
That was what happened today, even though my body still ached from yesterday’s games, I was rather determined not to lazy around and go shopping with Amanda and Abigail.
We met up at 11am in the morning at Orchard MRT station.
Headed to Far East Plaza.
I know many would say that Far East Plaza is a very boring shopping center that only happens when you are shopping with someone who lacks a sense of direction, specifically me. I can walk the same stretch over and over and not realize that it is the same stretch. Only after a couple of times, then I will know it is the same stretch. Haha.
I sound dumb but though I may walk the same stretch, I find myself going to different shops each time. So I could safely say that I did some thorough shopping.
What I find amusing is the pictures on the tee shirts on the ground floor, all three of us find ourselves griping our stomach as we laugh at the humorous design. If you want to entertain yourself, you might want to drop by that area.

I find myself misreading people’s message.
The first incident was when I saw Meihui’s message.
The message reads, “”Tmr you want to go shopping?”
I totally forget to check the time sent and I thought she meant tomorrow when her tomorrow meant today as she sent the message yesterday night.
A big whoop for me.
Really sorry I could not go out with you guys…

The second incident was I combine two messages content together.
The original was “”We are waiting for you between 18 and 19” and “It is the carriage number, just look at the door above.”
Then I look up and saw the carriage number was 3038. At that moment I was like “whoa something is really wrong.”
Maybe it was the person who sent it but on my part, I was pretty dumb.
Haha.

Are you laughing at me for being quite dumb?
Well, to make someone laugh is worth it.

What was great was God did make sure that during the shopping spree, I spent my money wisely. Praise the Lord. Even when you are shopping, you still need God with you, seriously.

Having said that, a lesson I learnt from today’s shopping outing. The lesson learnt is to pick the right people to shop with. This does not mean that only certain people you should shop with.
It means like for example I go to church and I have to choose the clothes carefully as going to church is a formal event and the clothes cannot be too revealing, as you do not want the boys to be distracted but to stay focus on God. So when I am shopping for clothes to wear to church, I shop with my fellow church friends as we all will go for the same “genre” of clothes.
Whereas, if I want to shop for casual clothes, I will look for my school friends as they are expertise is at that area.

In summary, shop with the right people and pray.
