Failure is not a measure of your worth,
It is an opportunity to prove your worth.
Someone once told me that and it came in useful now.
I failed my math test.
I am being frank.
This is not the first time it happened to me. I have been failing for the past few tests for my various subjects.
Well as in James, trails are pure joy.
Having looked back at my secondary school life, I realized that I just have to do what I had been doing all along.
I have being hit right smack in the face when my language teachers made really straightforward and direct and hurtful comments on my work.
Well, that did help me as a motivation.
Though my grades for my languages are always not fantastic and I struggled to even pass a mere assignment, I never give up.
Picked myself up one time after another failure and came to where I am today.
Amazing right?
Seriously, I did not know how I managed to do that.
I guess God was indeed my keeper.
Who is yours?
Resilience.
Yes, the right word.
I guess I am somehow fated to always be stuck in this kind of situation where I have to work extremely hard to get my grades, even though I put in my best in my work, I always ended up with horrible grades.
Trails are indeed pure joy.
I find myself encouraging myself every time I blog, weird right?
I know.
Anyway, I found this really cool fact on the net.
Food that fights … post workout pains
Eat This!: Pineapple and papaya
Both of these tropical fruits are loaded with bromelain and papain, enzymes that not only help break down proteins for digestion but also have anti-inflammatory properties to speed up your post-workout recovery.
Bonus tip:You know what else is a surprising workout food? Chocolate milk. When you drink it in moderation, it can help hydrate you after a sweat session. But here’s the thing: It is definitely possible to consume too much of a good thing. Even more troubling is that it’s also astonishingly easy to drink too much of a terrible thing
Way to go papayas!!!!
And ofcourse chocolate milk, a good reason to drink it. ^^
